TO DOWNLOAD AND APPLY WALLPAPERS: *best to use 800x600 for small type monitors and 1024x768 for monitors over 15"*
1) Right click (single bmp files) -OR- Left double click (zipped files) on the hypertext for the size you desire
2) Select "Save Target As".
3) Save to your Windows directory (save zip files to Windows Temp, then unzip to Windows ... then discard zip file if desired)
4) Go to Control Panel (Start, Settings ...)
5) Left-Double click on Display
6) From within the Background tab, select the title of the wallpaper (i.e. "beaches")
7) Then hit OK

Via the Control Panel - select Display, Appearance, Desktop in item pulldown and choose color then hit apply
